Our Monday recap for this week seems slow that usual...

Weekend seems so fast that I soon realize its Monday and I have a week episodes for Pusong Ligaw.

Episode 31 Recap (Pasikatan - The Show Off)

As Marga and Asya are about to leave, he whispered to confirm that the incident was her doing. Ximena runs after her and asked for them to talk. She gives her a knowing smile.

 Vida ask if he hangs at the rooftop whenever he's upset. He complains how noisy she is but she encourage him to speak up his mind and that keeping it to himself might cause him to explode.

He asked her to shut up but to just stay with him for a moment. She acts cute and motions on zipping her mouth. Heart!

Ximena thanks Marga for saving her. She explained that she was only helping her as a friend but she insisted and mentions that she has decided regarding the proposal they discussed the previous night.

Marga smiled triumphantly. She recalls how she bribe the cunning reporter and handing him an envelop of cash.

As they drive back, Marga was ecstatic as having Ximena the new face of their company. Asya praised her for her antics and she proudly said she was still holding her last card for her.

She deduced that all her plan has been going well. And that Ximena brought new life to their company. She joked that this new life might also mean they have to new company name and Asya agrees.

Her meeting Caloy again lessen all her misfortunes. She thinks he might be bringing luck to her. Asya suggest he should thank him but complained he was not responding to her text.

They both decide to have a party for the the success of the company

Potpot is sitting outside the HOuse of Teri when brought out a calling card Caloy gave him thin king he might be able to help but decides to keep it instead.

Teri walks out the building doing some calls. Potpot heard her voice and looks back to check. He stares at her for a bit and a smile slowly draws his face.

Teri looks around and then noticed a young man sitting on the stairs and smiled after seeing him smiling at her then resumed on her call. Potpot thinks of how pretty and wealthy the woman is but still looks kind.

After Teri ends her call, she stilled for a moment and slowly looked back to check the young man. Potpot turns his head and saw the woman staring at him. Both mother and soon exchange smiles while looking at each other.

Potpot was distracted by a call when Lauren went out to usher her to their waiting car. Potpot gets a light scolding from Mang Lito for leaving the shop unattended.

She looks back at him and smiled as he was busy with his phone. She peeked at her car window to check him one last time.

Both Rafa and Vida went down after a while. She went outside to where she left Potpot but he was no longer there. She tries to look around and looking worried. Girl! You expect him to wait for you that long?!

Mang Lito scolds Potpot for not advising him about not leaving the shop. Potpot appologies and explained he went to the person that had his money. The old man looks happy for him until he was told that the money has been spent.

Teri seems still occupied until she asked Lauren is she knew the young man but she was clueless on to whom she was referring to. She soon drops the question saying it was nothing but still seems troubled while she holds her necklace.

Rafa is out drinking at a club when his friends brought up Vida and on planning to take her home for the night. Annoyed, he asked his friends to stop their lewd comments towards her.

His friends teased him for his reaction and he reveals that she is his new executive assistant. The two boys were surprised and praised him, assuming he is pursuing her.

We was taken aback when one of his friends asked if he is starting to like her. He seems a little perplexed but seems to think about it.

Vida goes to meet Asya and was about to ask for a favor. As she was about to talk to him, Marga interrupts and asked what kind of help she needs.

She assumed she needs money and was about to get some when Vida stopped her to inform she can manage because she has a job. She didn't believe her because of how little her salary is.

She asked her daughter to stop fighting and to just go home but Vida was eager when she said no. She states that her daughter still choose the difficult life rather than listen to her own mother.

Sadness clouded her features as tears pool on her eyes.

She knocks at Potpot's room and apologies for leaving him and that she returned but he was no longer there. Potpot sits inside his room as he listen's to her.

She informed him about not getting any money yet but assured she still has alot of people to call to. She hands a plastic with food on his door handle and bids goodbye after not getting any response.

Potpot opens the door but Vida is no longer there. He took and plastic with the food she left.

Teri lying on her bed, wide awake, while her husband is asleep next to her.

Vida gets a visit from her friend that lends her money. The next day she bangs his room to let him know about the good news. Potpot, still sleepy walks and opens the door without his shirt on. Vida's mouth drops and abit shock which made him quickly cover with his shirt.

She announced to him of the available money she got that might be good enough and orders him to get ready so they can enroll him immediately.

Due to rush hour, they were not able to find any ride until she calls for kUber. He panics and tries to hold her up and asked why is she going inside a private car. He keeps on  apologising to the driver which made her chuckle.  She later explain what a kUber does.

He's amazed about the GPS app on the driver's phone and praised that this will lead them faster than usual. But Manila traffic is no exemption to them so Vida decide and holds his hands and told him they should just ran.

He was startled with her gesture but this seems nothing to her. She keeps on insisting until he has no choice but to just move out of the car. They ran to his school before the enrollment closed down.

The two were excited announcing they have money for his enrollment but their faces fell after they were rejected because the enrollment was closed since yesterday. Vida tries to plead for him to be given a chance but his course slot is also full which makes it impossible for him to enroll.

Her face suddenly lits up after remembering his godfather is the VP of the school and pulls him to his office. Their chance were cut short after knowing he's out of the country and will not be back soon.

Vida tries to comfort him after seeing the pain in his face. He cuts her and assures its alright but was looking worried knowing how important it is for him.

On their ride home, she notice his silence and apologies. He keeps on saying it's alright and they can't do anything about it. He advise her that she does not need for her to accompany him but she insisted and this will also help her lessen her guilt.

He thanks her for her effort. She promises to pay for his money and he jokes the she indeed should. He informs her that what he needs to do now is to tell the truth to his parents about losing the money.

He then noticed the guy beside him gawking at Vida who's chest cleavage and belly are exposed.  He quickly pulls her jacket close to cover her and huffed about her being too exposed.

She's annoyed and tells him to let them because its something they can't have. She tries to spite at the guy but he quickly stops her and tried his best to cover her with his frame and tries to look down at her to calm him down. LOL! I so damn like his reaction.

The two are discussing about her clearing the charges in their barangay but was greeted by Manang Guada with a waiting visitor for him.

He walks up wondering  until he saw his father gets up from his sit. He paused in his tracks, worried seeing his father with a disappointing look on his face. Snap!

Marga is out having lunch with Asya and Ximena to finalize their contract signing. Both Marga and Asya are looking happy until she noticed uncertainty at Ximena.

She asked her whats wrong and complained there's something wrong with the contract. She counters that everything they have discussed is the one stated in their contract. She then clarifies that the spelling of her name is wrong. Marga relaxes and quickly corrects the contract.

After she signed the contract, Marga welcomed her to her "home" and promised her that she's in good hands. Ximena informs her of a particular brand that she'd like to endorse. She quickly confirms and assures her that her TF will be enough and ask which brand. Ximena excitedly announced Teri Laurel as the brand she fancies.

She was dumbfounded and tries to plaster a smile in front of her new model.

Lauren is on the phone with Ximena's PA and found out about her having a new manager. She asked who should they discussed the contracts details and her eyes widen after hearing the news.

She carefully told Teri about Ximena having a new manager and it just so happened that it's Marga Verdadero. A stunned Teri could only stare at her.

The last episode for this week!

This weeks episodes are full of revelations and non-stop exciting scenes both from our young leads to adult leads. I just love that the plot is gearing up and I just can't wait what more fun twists we can see.

As per our new episode preview, we get a glimpsed of another possible reunion of mother-son, Teri and Potpot. Of course there won't be exaggerate you're my long lost son, I am your mother scene, but just the thought that the two will be able to cross path gives me hope that they can finally unite together.

Episode 30 Recap (Naku Po! - Oh My!)

Potpot calls a barangay tanod (watchman) and the guy told him that he's about to call him to update about the CCTV that could check for his lost money.

They were reviewing the CCTV when Potpot pointed that the CCTV has caught her in the act taking his envelop. Vida sarcastically answered that she was picking her earrings but he was not buying it.

We see from the old clip that she was indeed picking her earrings then saw an envelop and took it. The two are bartering and Vida growled at tanod when he informed she should clear it out to their Barangay.

Daddy Melchor is working on saving money to buy Potpot a second hand cellphone.

Potpot friends are pushing the one selling the second hand phone to lower his price and consider it as a gift to him. But the guy was throwing insults when they mention how he can be an engineer someday and mentioned about the video he's in.

He showed a video of Potpot posing as a garbage man and making some introduction.

Manang Guada is trying to defuse them from arguing. She suggested that Vida should just return the money that she picked to avoid any trouble. Vida anxiously explained that she already spent the money shocking everyone especially Potpot who worries for his enrollment.

Vida pointed out that it was his fault being careless that he lost his money. Potpot appalled by her excused and chide that she should have returned the money or look for the owner. But she reasoned out that its Manila and those won't work.

He told her that he had to skipped meals just to saved those money and she immediately reasoned she just borrowed the money and plans on returning the money. He had enough of her and accused her of being pretentious and a thief and the two tanods agreed. Ouch!

Manang Guada intervened and warned them that they won't fix the problem with their bickering. Potpot wants to pushed reporting her to the Barangay but Vida insisted that she will repay him and write a promissory note so she can go to work for the day.

He was doubting Vida might run away but Vida took her wallet and give him her money and IDs. She plead that she won't run away. He then made it clear that he needs his money back tomorrow. He asked if she can loan some money from her employer but she is new to be able to but assured him she will find a way to return his money.

Potpot's friends are discussing about the possibility of their friends part-time job and that his father might know about it as well. They were surprised when his father greeted them and he saw the phone and assumed it's the phone he's selling.

The boys tried to deny and hold the phone but his dad got it anyways and saw his son's photo. He clicked the play button and saw the clip about his son buying bottles. Melchor's face suddenly turned serious and stared at boys.

Vida signs the promissory note she promises and told them she'll have it notarized but Potpot took the job instead. She asked if she can proceed preparing to go to work when he stopped her and pleads for her to make it happen.

She apologies seeing how Potpot is serious about her need for his money back. She promises to return his money. He told her how his parents are only farmers and saving its hard for them to save that kinds of amount alone.

Vida gets a text from Rafa demanding his where abouts. Potpot glance at the signed papers and forced a smile to Manang Guada assuring he's fine but soon smiled geniuinely after seeing assurance from Manang Guada and the two tanods.

Vida tries to text some old friends borrowing some cash when she almost bumped into Rafa who was waiting for her. She tried to explain but he counters that hangover is not an acceptable excuse.

She saw Teri Laurel inside the conference room and got too excited and quickly asking confirmation from Rafa if she will be joining the presentation. She checks herself in the mirror wanting to look pretty but he clamoured how she can think that when she's already late.

Rafa was called to start the meeting and he ask Andrea if his dad is in a good mood and looks to check his dad. he quickly told Vida she won't be joining them. She quickly pleads him but she was closed out from the room.

Rafa was presenting his proposal to the executives. The meeting seems looking smooth as his mom and other executives are all looking proud of him. Vida was still standing at the door of the conference room trying to get a glimpsed of Teri when she when someone from her back asked what she was doing.

The woman introduced herself as Kayla, Jaime's EA and she sneered after Kayla added her being a soon to be Senior Designer of Teri. She asked why she was not included inside and mocks that only important people are included in the meeting. Vida points out she was not included as well but she quickly excused herself to get inside the door and

Jaime asked Rafa about the need for spend on promo girls for their campaign, Rafa startles as he tries to explain and gives other possible alternatives. Jaime looks happy with his son's answer but soon throws insults to his ideas.

Teri reached for his husbands hand to stop him. She looks back and worriedly looks at his son. Rafa stutters and apology and addressing him as dad but quickly corrects himself and calls him Sir. Man!

Vida hearing all the had happened looks worried/sad for Rafa.

Marga is patiently waiting for Ximena's press con to start and looking thrilled after confirming a call.

Both Potpot's parents, Melchor and Didith, are discussing about their son's situation. His mother was fine doing it his way but only worries about his focus to study. His father is still unsatisfied for the possible reason why their son would do such thing. Didith suggest to call their son but Melchor is not settled for a call and decides to travel to Manila to check on him.

Rafa, looking mad, walks into his office finding Vida sitting there. She quickly ask if he's okay but he raises his voice asking if he looks okay. He went out with Vida following her.

Teri tells Laurie how worried she is for his son. She remembers the look on the face of his son after being humiliated by his father. Laurie reminded her that that's how her husband and son's relationship had been. She showed her the live feed of Ximena's press conference. 

At the conference, Ximena has been introduced with her movie leading man while Marga just stands still smiling and observing them.

Potpot walks into the Laurel office building and sees Vida outside. She ask him why he's there. She was worried and asked if he's planning some trouble. He explained that he's just desperate for his tuition money. She asked for time until the afternoon to get some money.

Rafa on the other hand is on the rooftop when he dropped his lighter just right beside Potpot and Vida's. He tries to hover and check and Vida panics and assumes he plans on committing suicide. She runs up the stars and saw Rafa stepping on the rails and seems looking like he plans on climbing up. She screams to stop him and he quickly looks back to her.

The conference started with some Q&A about her career and some leading man. Both Teri and Lauren seems pleased with the on-going pres con.

Another reporter gets to asked Ximena, and talks about her new manager. The host reminded the reporter about avoiding those questions but the he continuous to ask for confirmation if the reason for the fallout was due to her haggling her talent fee cut and being ungrateful towards her. Ximena looks uncomfortable as the reported continuous how her previous manager was the one who discovered her and that she dickered her new manager as well.

The reporter then ask Ximena's new manager about it and reminded him that he just told him about it earlier. The manager denied and pleads him to stop as its no longer about the movie.

Marga has been observing the entire Q&A and tries to hold her smile as the it everything favors her.

The reporter continuous and ask that with all the negative write ups, will the movie still be able to make a profit. The angry new manager answered that with her tandem to his co-star, the movie will definitely be success full but the press seems to  not agree with it. They were cut when Marga excused herself.

Vida pleads Rafa not to worry about the presentation. She blabbers on redoing the presentation and helping him redo everything. Rafa looks amused and smiled at her.

He asked whats wrong with her and she figures he was not planning to. He playfully smiles and clarifies he has no plan on jumping and a little arguments from his dad won't make him jump off.

She apologies and explained she thought he will jump. He calls him a "funny girl" and she quickly points her effort made him laugh. Rafa accepted her excused and both smiled happily. Gah! That smile killed me!

Just as Marga is about to talk, Teri on the other hand was reminded of her pending meeting and stopped watching the live feed. - What are the odds!

Marga explains that Ximena is a star on her own. She reminded everyone that Ximena is the actress of the decade. And she recalls an old report about the huge TF cut of Ximena's previous manager when she was a child star for its personal gain.

Ximena looks at her current manager quietly fired him. Marga seems to be happy of the outcome and graciously smiles at everyone.

Teri expressed her admiration towards Ximena and asked Lauren who her manager is. Both are clueless and Lauren checks it out.
